How it was made
To collect all the various emoticons I used, python to webcraping several sites across the web. I ended up collecting 5000+ emoticons from several websites. To categorize them searched for keywords describing each emoticon from each website. I then concatenate all these keywords to create a searchable and catorizable index of emoticons.
